How to EDIT & DELETE LOGS (in-app)

1) Press the Logs icon
2) Select the Log you want to edit or delete
3) Edit or scroll down to the Delete button

Unknown Error when Sync

Check your App logs right around the time the Unknown Error began occurring. The disruption is caused by a medicine log. Delete that log by pressing Logs ->select the log->scroll to Delete.

Your Sync should now work.

Do not worry, folks. We're making some improvements to the graph and it's coming back. We wanted to get this 3.0 version out as soon as possible and get you working with it, learning it, and loving it.

Graphs are extremely important, we know that. In the meantime, you can always utilize the graphs online and print them, as well.

Push Notifications

Some people have been having consistency issues with the Push Notification Reminders. The process of including push notifications into an app is very in-depth and we are working on getting the consistency issues resolved.

Adding the Web account you created to your iPhone

If you would like to add your web account to your iPhone/iTouch please follow these directions:

• Download and Install Glucose Buddy from the App Store
• Open Glucose Buddy on your iPhone
• From within the App, go to:
1) Settings
2) Account Info
3) Enter your username and password
4) Press DONE
5) Press CANCEL (NOT Join Us)

Your account information is now linked between iPhone/iTouch and Web. Please keep in mind that only iPhone -> Web communication is currently enabled.

Web Sync is currently 1 way (iPhone - > Web)

We have limited the web sync to 1 way sync because we feel it best to work out every kink before moving onto 2 way sync. Please recognize that the technology is all there, however releasing a 2 way sync in beta (which we are still in as you can see by our web address http://BETA.glucosebuddy.com) would be a disservice to diabetic iPhoners.

Connecting with your old web account (if you bought a new phone, reset your GB, etc.)

Here's the instructions on getting your web account linked to your new phone:

Install Glucose Buddy from the App Store
Open Glucose Buddy, ADD ANY KIND OF LOG
go to Account Info, Enter your Account Information, AND THEN PRESS DONE AND THEN PRESS CANCEL (NOT Join Us)
Next hit Quick Sync. A popup might appear: "This is your First time Synchronizing..." That is Normal, Ignore It
Press OK
Keep in mind that your logs from your Web Will not be added to your iPhone, but any future logs entered into iPhone will be able to be synchronized with Web! Keep on loggin!

We're currently working on the issue, so in the meantime, we've removed the functionality completely.

IF YOUR LOGS ARE UPLOADING AND YOU ARE GETTING ERROR MESSAGES, YOU MAY WANT TO REINSTALL THE APP... YOU MAY BE ANXIOUS TO START UTILIZING THE WEB TO THE BEST OF ITS CAPABILITIES. WE UNDERSTAND. WE WILL HAVE FIXES COMING OUT IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, BUT WE REALIZE MANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MANUALLY REMEDY THE ISSUE.

WITH THIS PROCESS, YOUR WEB LOGS WILL NOT BE DELETED, YOUR OLD PHONE LOGS WILL BE DELETED, AND NEW ENTRIES WILL SIMPLY BE ADDED TO YOUR WEB ACCOUNT

Here's what you do:

Delete the program. This will clear all iPhone logs so make sure that information is either A) in your web account or B) you don't care about losing old info
Give us 5 stars because it's a free app, and we're working our tail off to give you the best experience possible, and if you're reading this it means our program has helped you manage your diabetes
Reinstall Glucose Buddy from the App Store
Open Glucose Buddy, ADD ANY KIND OF LOG
go to Account Info, Enter your Account Information, AND THEN PRESS DONE AND THEN PRESS CANCEL (NOT Join Us)
Next hit Synchronize. A popup will appear: "This is your First time Synchronizing..." That is Normal, Ignore It,

Do this with a STRONG WIFI CONNECTION

Within Glucose Buddy App, go to Settings, Account Info, Join Us (pay no attention to the username and password currently entered)

Enter:
First Name
Last Name

Click Next

Email: BRAND NEW EMAIL ADDRESS
Username: BRAND NEW USERNAME
Password: BRAND NEW PASSWORD

Click Next, Select Time Zone, then Join.

Close Glucose Buddy App.

Verify Email sent to you, click the link within Email.

Then close your Internet browser.

Open Glucose Buddy App, tap Settings -> Sync.

Go to https://beta.glucosebuddy.com/login and enter new username information.

IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUE #1, READ BELOW

Just upgraded our servers AGAIN and this time we're getting some better results.

If you were having issues before, try synchronization now. Even if the error screen shows up, login to your account online https://beta.glucosebuddy.com/login because your logs in all likelihood have synchronized

Also, we HIGHLY recommend you do the transfers on WiFi, for now.

Please check your Spam box.
In the unlikely event that it is not there, follow these instructions: Within App, press Settings -> Account Info (ignore pre-filled information) -> Join Us. Then, redo the sign up process USING A NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT, USERNAME, AND PASSWORD.

ISSUE 3

Pop-up numbers on Glucose Buddy icon do not disappear (How many logs that are awaiting synchronization with the Web)

If this number doesn't go down even after you've synchronized, there is a bug on your phone. This will not damage any of your logs, and will be fixed in an upcoming version.

ISSUE 4

Your logs are showing up double on your Web Account

We suggest either A) delete them manually or B) make a new account, with a DIFFERENT E-MAIL, DIFFERENT USERNAME & DIFFERENT PASSWORD

If B)

If your old logs won't synchronize to this new account, you'll have to wait until we will release an update that allows you to SEND ALL OF YOU OLD LOGS to your member site, even if the program says "Zero log(s) need to be synchronized"

(probably 1 - 2 weeks from now)

Issue 5

If you've entered the wrong Email address, and continued to press join.

Here's what we're doing:
Spearheading the issues, and we will have updates addressing the bugs in the up and coming days. As some of you know, we've already dealt with a number of bugs and were able to fix them in less than 12 hours.

Here's what you have to worry about:
Nothing. Our main priority is keeping your logs safe; nothing is getting deleted, and you can continue logging away.
Most of you using the app that have been synchronizing with your web account, you can keep on doing it.
If you haven't been able to access it correctly, then we recommend you hold off on synchronization until the next update comes out (very shortly).

If you have any other issues, email support@glucosebuddy.com (Subject line: New Error) describing your problem, and please include a screenshot, as well. We'll get back to you within 24 hours, and usually a lot sooner :)
